The foundation is launching an educational
program “Education: Professional orientation", the main goal of which is to endow an
individual with such abilities for continuous learning and career development
that will enable him to choose a competitive profession in the RA labor market
and obtain a suitable job.
We would like to inform you that professional orientation clubs are already operating in a number of public schools of RA regions and Yerevan in order to guide and support students in choosing a future profession. The “Education: Professional orientation" course has been introduced into the general education system, within the framework of which high school students get to know the professions that exist in the world of knowledge and the demands of the labor market.
The Foundation, in cooperation with the "Center for Vocational Orientation and Capacity Development" of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (Methodological Center for Vocational Orientation), from now on within the framework of opportunities and available resources, will try to organize familiarization visits to various professional institutions, students, students of high schools in Yerevan and especially in regions.
As a main example and a successful start of the project, on October 17, 19 students of the 8th grade of the "Spandaryan Secondary School" of the Spandaryan village of Shirak region visited the intensive gardens of the "ArLeAM" company.
It should be noted that in the area of more than 25 ha of ArLeAM's intensive orchards, four different types of apples with different, juicy and unique taste characteristics are growing, the sweetness and beauty of ArLeAM's orchards are also complemented by pear orchards with an area of about 10 ha.
The representatives and specialists of the company willingly and lovingly introduced the students to the nuances of work with intensive gardens, introduced them to the correct harvesting technology, soil nutrition, fertilization and general care, the procedure of storage works, the possibility of branding products with laser engraving. The students enthusiastically participated in the apple harvesting process, observed the conditions and how the fruits are stored and preserved in special freezers, got to know and tasted the company's other delicious products (cherry, chocolate, natural juices, etc.). who also teach the “Education: Professional orientation" subject, accompanying and witnessing the enthusiasm of the students, emphasizing this visit, noted that within the scope of the subject, the objectives, theoretical and practical steps to achieve them, time, and the importance of the practical area were defined in advance with the class , which will help to get an idea about the importance of choosing professions.
We learned that he teaches his students to recognize their potential through the formula for success: "I WANT, I CAN, I MUST."
For all present, the visit was indeed important, motivating and educational, because right from the entrance, the well-groomed and warm environment, the care and dedication of the staff, which encourages to be educated, purposeful and patriotic, was noticeable.
