On September 9, on Karo's birthday, the team of the "Karo Hovagimian" charity foundation
initiated and organized a tree planting with the establishment of a grove dedicated to the memory
of Karo Hovagimian, the hero of the 44-day war in Artsakh.
This symbolic day united everyone: family, relatives, team, friends.
By cooperating with and receiving permission from the management of the Forestry Committee
"Hayantar" NGO, the forest named after "Karo Hovagimian, will form a part of the forest area of
the Aparan Reservoir (Aparan Lake), which will soon expand and give life to new tree species.
The team of Charity foundation expresses its deep gratitude to the management
of "Hayantar" and "My Forest Armenia" organizations for their professional
advice, donation of appropriate variety of saplings and willingness to participate in upcoming
initiatives due to effective cooperation.
